and
Born
To Be A Cowboy. Produced by the great Texas musician/producer Rich

Cowboy Magazine - Summer 1996
| Born to be a Cowboy
by R.W. Hampton On R.W. Hampton's previous albums,
most or all of the songs have been his own original work because, in his
words, "I felt [the] fine old songs had been recorded by the best and done
as well as they could be done." But, after being offered this chance
to produce an album of the old classics, he modified his thinking and began
to consider that perhaps he, being a working cowboy, could contribute something
new to these beloved old standards.
